Description
Plazma Ltd is seeking to engage a Chief Financial Officer for planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities of a game development company, including strategic business planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk and governance as well as negotiating and maintaining investor relations and partnership compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
- Advising on long-term business and financial planning
- Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team
- Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
- Overseeing cash flow planning, investment, and asset management to ensure availability of funds as needed
- Provide commercial insight and leadership across the business in order to exceed business plan targets
- Responsible for ensuring the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the group
- Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
- Reviewing all formal finance, HR and IT related procedures;
- Overseeing the accounting department to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and functions
- Providing regular reports to the Board and CEO.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Professional accreditation is considered an asset
- Clear understanding of game development, data processing and controlling. A degree in a related area is considered a strong asset
- Proficiency in English, Russian and Ukrainian language is essential
- Proven experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role in a game production company
- In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
- Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software
- Ability to strategize and solve problems
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
