The product
RENNSPORT is the playground for car enthusiasts. A live-service racing simulation in its alpha stage of development with thousands of eager players already on the waiting list for release, as well as a top tier live competition dubbed “ESL R1”.
RENNSPORT (the game) and ESL R1 are the tip of the iceberg in our vision to completely transform how players and fans engage with racing games, where the community of players, modders, and pro drivers are front and centre of everything we do.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a talented Level Designer / Track Artist to assist us on our ambitious goals of becoming the future of Digital Motorsport. The role itself is self-explanatory, you will help us recreate real-world race tracks from precisely captured digital laser scans!
The Design Team is a multi-disciplinary group focused on delivering compelling player experiences through ideation, iteration, and implementation. The team is passionate about finding creative solutions to design challenges and responsible for filtering the game vision into individual features. The design team collaborates closely with all other disciplines to support features throughout the full development lifecycle to ensure high-quality experiences are delivered on schedule.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Take ownership of parts of our game world and collaborate closely with all disciplines to deliver a great experience for our players
- Work closely with the gameplay teams to define the metrics necessary for the low-level design of our world
- Assist the tech team in enhancing the tools needed to meet the project's level and world design needs
- Work alongside art and design leadership to design and deliver environments in line with the visual goals
YOUR PROFILE
You have shipped at least one title in a level design role.
A passionate gamer, preferably with a love for racing games.
Experienced working in cross-discipline teams to deliver high-quality content.
A team member who can develop productive, lasting relationships across all disciplines.
You are motivated, flexible, approachable, and will champion quality across the team.
An individual with excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
