The Role

Responsible for the planning and delivery of all ticketed BLAST events, from designing sales strategies, to ticketing fulfilment & event management.

This role is varied, busy, exciting and challenging. You need to be ready for this from day one.

You’ll be the expert and key point of contact internally and externally for all ticketing and sales activities across BLAST. This means handling multiple events, ticketing manifests and sales plans simultaneously

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate positive relationships between Venue & Ticketing Partners, Promoters and our audience / fan base
  • Set up seating plans, categories, prices & ticketing processes for all BLAST events, either in partnership with our production partners, or independently.
  • Single point of contact for all ticketing inquiries between the hosting venue, ticketing providers and the BLAST team to ensure that each event sells out providing maximum revenue.
  • Work with the Executive Team to develop ticketing & pricing policies & processes. You’ll be the one recommending the ticketing prices, sales plans and be confident creating sell out strategies that are win win for BLAST & our global fan base
  • Own the end to end ticketing experience. For each event, you’ll identify improvements for the purchasing customer journey, be one step ahead on your planning and production times, collaborate with various venues and ticketing providers to implement seamless sales.
  • Work alongside the marketing and design teams to create ticketing & sales campaigns & collateral.
  • Own and organise all VIP and hospitality offerings for the BLAST team and fans for each event ensuring that all information is provided to the key stakeholders, partners and fans.
  • Administration and delivery of all complimentary tickets including collating requests by department and processing using various ticketing systems
  • Fan communication- ensure that purchasing fans receive all information and communication relating to their purchase
  • Create and maintain revenue forecasts and sales updates to the BLAST Management team
  • Respond to and resolve all fan queries or complaints
  • Facilitate specialised ticketing campaigns, supervise group ticketing process for events as needed; group sales prospecting and sales.
  • Assist Promoters and other Stakeholders, such as our Professional eSports Teams, Media & Sponsors with all their ticketing queries.

  • Previous experience working in a fast paced ticketing environment, handling large volume single tickets, and/or multi ticket purchase platforms is essential
  • As is your ability to work to tight deadlines, adapt and respond quickly to changing demands and events
  • As a team, we are always prepared to muck in at every level and we expect you to have the same approach and attitude.

  • You will need to exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to establish good working relationships.
  • Good attention to detail is required as ticketing is a critical role in our business. The ability to work with data, research and insight to be able to construct comprehensive strategies and reports is important, specifically as you focus on costs, margin and maximising sales at every opportunity
  • Be confident, adaptable and forward thinking - you’ll pre empt the obvious issues and challenges that come with ticketed events and have plans prepared to avoid them at all costs
  • You will need the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
