Your Role
Fun Plus is currently looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our growing team!

 

Are you passionate about data and building things from scratch? Then we have the perfect role for you! We are looking for a proactive Data expert to spearhead the data and analytics operations in our Barcelona office, supporting both the game development studio and the growth team. Show yourself and grow with the team.

 

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be working in a hybrid role with our game team and also be a crucial part within the growth team. You drive insights on our players that translate into creating better games and player experiences but also deliver robust data analytics evaluating the measures of the growth team. 

 

You will use internal and external data sources to develop analyses and give recommendations that drive the decision making of developing new games and finding new ideas.

 

You will translate business needs to technical requirements and A/B tests, and work with development teams to ensure correct implementation and tracking the right information to allow reaching the right conclusions.

 

You will help evolve the methodology and tools available within the organization.  We're looking for someone who can use data science to take our games to the next level.



Responsibilities
  • Partner with product and game teams to assure that the most relevant data is identified, tracked, analyzed, and made into actionable insight across all our games.
  • Develop models, reporting, and dashboards. 
  • Building and maintaining a robust data culture across the business.
  • Managing our data flow and ensuring data is at the heart of every decision we make.
  • Working with every team involved in creating awesome mobile games people love to play.
  • Consult the growth team to find best practices to grow our existing titles
  • Shaping the analytics agenda for the game, working closely with the game team to identify the key questions that data can help to solve.
  • Carrying out ad-hoc analysis and deep-dives to help answer the key questions with insights and actionable recommendations and inform the product roadmap decisions.
  • Analyze market trends and transform them into actionable insights that can lead us to our next big hit.
  • Owning the analysis task management for the game, setting priorities and managing the 
  • relationship with the game team.



Requirements
  • Minimum of four years experience.
  • A deep understanding of mobile games and the free-to-play market.
  • An ability to analyze large sets of data, produce actionable insights, and develop models in order to best utilize available data.
  • You are able to communicate complicated analysis outputs to non-technical audiences, utilizing visual storytelling and clear written summaries to get the key points across.
  • A willingness to work alongside production teams to ensure data consistency.
  • You'll need a strong technical understanding of data modeling, design and architecture principles.
  • You'll be skilled with using SQL and R/Python.
  • The skills necessary to build, guide and scale a team of data scientists and game analysts.
  • Autonomous, proactive, self-driven yet a good team player with a positive attitude!
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • You should be able to communicate both in written and spoken English.
  • Occasional travel required.
