Description

As (Junior) Project Manager you will be supporting a variety of topics for our project with FIFAe - FIFA’s gaming and esports division. Your tasks will include conceptualising new social media-focused projects, executing communication activities, telling the stories of competitors, identifying new digital partnerships, supporting the operation of international tournaments and overseeing various social media and media tasks together with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should already have theoretical or practical knowledge in the fields of communication, social media or digital. Additionally, initial working experience in the field of sports, esports and/or gaming is a big plus. Your profile will thrive with the project if you are truly passionate about your job, open to continuously jumping into new emerging tasks and the willingness to bring in your own ideas in a fast-paced environment.

With our projects and our company approach, you have the opportunity to be flexible in terms of location and working hours during most periods of the year. You will be able to work 100% remotely with flexible working hours while travelling internationally for meetings and events at selected times.

Your responsibilities might include:

  • Creation of creative concepts focussed on digital and social media channels to promote events and the brand
  • Creation of new storytelling formats for social media and broadcast
  • Management of a media programme including writing media releases and articles, developing relationships with media outlets, facilitating interviews and handling remote or on-site media requests
  • Development and execution of content-sharing strategy to empower stakeholders
  • Management of brand partnerships to enhance the brand
  • Project management for brand-related, social media focussed projects such as local activations, partner management, social responsibility partnerships and others
  • Creation of social media content and preparation of social media copies
  • Business development activities to identify, explore and evaluate new opportunities including the creation of presentations and project plans

What you ideally bring to the table:

  • Completed apprenticeship or studies in the field of marketing, business, (e)sports or similar
  • First experience in social media and digital communications ideally in the field of sports, esports or gaming
  • Excellent understanding of GenZ/Alpha, social media channels as well as current trends
  • Hands-on mentality
  • English native speaker beneficial, advanced English skills required, German an optional bonus
  • Knowledge of the sports, esports or gaming industry
  • Knowledge of football video games
  • Creativity and self-responsibility
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop, Premier Pro, CapCut or similar tools
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools
  • Experience in project management tools is a bonus
